Senior Data Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Drive the advancement of data products that align with the strategic goals of the organization.

• Gain insights into business and user needs through research, interviews, analysis, and exploration activities.

• Establish, prioritize, and manage the data product backlog effectively.

• Articulate functional requirements and assist in detailing technical specifications with engineering teams.

• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of value-driven outcomes.

• Manage the complete lifecycle of data products, from initial concept to outcome measurement.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to quality, governance, security, and usability standards.

• Define and monitor success, adoption, and value metrics for data products.

• Facilitate the integration of AI and Generative AI in products and business processes.

• Advocate for best practices concerning data quality, cataloging, and reliability.

• Contribute to fostering a data-driven culture throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Product Manager, Product Manager, or a similar role.

• Familiarity with data products, datasets, data APIs, consumption layers, or analytical solutions.

• Understanding of the data lifecycle, which includes collection, transformation, governance, and consumption.

• Proven experience in defining and prioritizing product backlogs.

• Capability to conduct discovery activities, articulate requirements, and align stakeholder expectations.

• Proficiency in agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise between business areas and technical teams.

• Experience in defining and tracking product KPIs and metrics.

• Knowledge of AI and Generative AI as applied to data products, automation, or information enrichment.
