Senior Data Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop the storage layer that maintains source discrepancies and historical data instead of resolving them at the time of writing.

• Establish the initial release’s result and evidence repository, preserving original records, previous results, human feedback, and configuration versions.

• Apply provenance and lineage across all nodes and edges in accordance with the platform’s evidence-record contract.

• Maintain the versioned rule library and configuration, documenting precise rule versions and the ordered context provided for model-assisted steps.

• Guarantee that every write can be traced back to its origin and that every decision can be reproduced.

• Propagate match confidence and other uncertainties throughout the platform.

• Facilitate point-in-time inquiries regarding beliefs about an entity and the evidence supporting those beliefs.

• Specify storage-layer inputs and downstream outputs in collaboration with entity resolution and machine learning teammates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in data engineering or data platform engineering, with production experience in versioned, temporal, or historized data models.

• Proven experience in designing storage systems where history, provenance, and source discrepancies are treated as primary elements rather than being resolved.

• Proficiency in working with probabilistic upstream outputs instead of relying on a clean shared key.

• Strong skills in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using PostgreSQL or a similar database.

• US Citizenship is required.

• Must possess an active US Secret clearance.
