Senior Data Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Execute and support comprehensive Data Governance initiatives and governance processes from start to finish.

• Develop and maintain governance documentation, standards, and procedures.

• Conduct data analysis and profiling to uncover quality issues and identify areas for improvement.

• Assist in metadata management by documenting and maintaining both business and technical metadata.

• Leverage AI-driven data governance tools to automate data classification and tagging, identify sensitive or non-compliant data, and facilitate governance workflows.

• Oversee data assets to ensure compliance with governance policies and recommend corrective measures.

• Aid in the implementation and validation of AI-enhanced data retention, archival, and lifecycle management policies.

• Validate data governance controls and ensure adherence to governance policies and regulatory standards.

• Document business definitions, data rules, and governance requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders.

• Support data stewardship initiatives and enhance data quality across vital data domains.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into governance documentation.

• Monitor governance activities and contribute to ongoing process enhancements.

• Communicate governance updates, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.

• Approximately 3+ years of professional experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Business/Data Analysis, or similar areas.

• Familiarity with data governance platforms such as Atlan, Collibra, Alation, or equivalent governance workflow and metadata management tools.

• Experience in PII discovery and confidence scoring (required).

• Proficiency in data masking utilizing AI agents (required).

• Practical experience with AWS, including S3, cleanup processes, Glue, AgentCore, and Lambda functions (required).

• Knowledge of CoCo and Cortex is an advantage.

• Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal) is preferred.
