Senior Data Engineer, Data Science

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize data, experimentation, analytics, and statistical methods to drive digital transformation.

• Spearhead exploratory initiatives to develop insights and machine learning solutions.

• Plan and execute A/B tests and various experiments from start to finish.

• Oversee timelines, monitor progress, and effectively communicate findings.

• Partner with stakeholders to ensure that requests and objectives are well-defined.

• Independently lead data mining processes in collaboration with business engagement to deliver analytical results.

• Grasp business challenges and identify necessary data for optimization.

• Maintain project timelines to foresee resource requirements, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate testing and analytics with business insights.

• Develop experiments ensuring robust methodology and alignment with strategic goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Business, or a related field is required.

• A related Master’s Degree is advantageous.

• Over 7 years of relevant experience in data analysis with advanced SQL programming skills, demonstrating a high level of independence.

• More than 5 years of experience utilizing data to conduct experiments, supporting experimentation and optimization: A/B, split, multivariate analysis, with a proven record of establishing A/B testing and deriving insights from their significance.

• At least 5 years of experience and proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.

• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience with web tools, particularly Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics preferred.

• Over 3 years of professional experience in (Digital) Marketing, working alongside product leads, product managers, software engineering, and user experience design teams.

• Advanced analytics and data mining skills: the capability to employ suitable analytical techniques to address business inquiries and provide actionable insights.

• Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including active listening.

• A team-oriented mindset: strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the capacity to network with internal business partners throughout the organization.
