Senior Data Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the design and ownership of the architecture and implementation of scalable ETL pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric.

• Automate the integration of diverse data sources, including MySQL databases and APIs.

• Engage in the continuous development of the data warehouse architecture.

• Adapt data models and structures continuously to meet emerging requirements.

• Create reliable processes for data modeling, ingestion, and production.

• Ensure the quality, security, reliability, integrity, availability, and confidentiality of data throughout the entire pipeline.

• Proactively monitor trends and technological advancements in the field of data engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

• Strong expertise in designing and implementing contemporary ETL pipelines.

• Practical experience with automation tools such as Azure Logic Apps, n8n, or Make.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or Microsoft Data Factory, Apache Spark, and notebooks.

• Proficient in MySQL.

• Experienced in working with various databases and data warehousing solutions.

• Eagerness to further enhance skills in Power BI.

• Fluent in German.

• Very good command of English.
