Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines utilizing Python.

• Process and integrate data from various formats and sources, such as JSON, CSV, and XML.

• Construct and manage data transformations and orchestration workflows with DBT and tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.

• Uphold data governance, quality, and security standards across data systems.

• Enhance, maintain, and optimize the Elastic Hierarchy data framework.

• Collaborate closely with analytics, machine learning, and product teams to provide dependable, business-ready datasets.

• Assist with data operations in SaaS and hybrid on-premise environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong expertise in Python development.

• Familiarity with the AWS data ecosystem, encompassing services like S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, EC2, Redshift, and RDS.

• Practical experience with Snowflake, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.

• Proficient in using DBT and at least one data orchestration tool (Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster).

• Understanding of data mapping, attribution, and reconciliation processes.

• Capability to function effectively in hybrid and on-premise deployment settings.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
