Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop monitoring systems and routines for data, applications, and queries.

• Improve data models, architecture, and data pipeline development to satisfy new engineering and business needs.

• Execute data migration, processing, and storage routines (ETL).

• Create integrations across various data sources, including RDS and external APIs, to consolidate data into a data lake.

• Carry out and implement load testing.

• Supervise the operation of data pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Python.

• Familiarity with GCP.

• Experience in continuous integration and cloud deployment.

• Knowledge of data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.

• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Awareness of cloud platform services and their capabilities.

• Comprehension of event-driven architecture.

• Experience with streaming projects is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Airflow is beneficial.

• Background in distributed data processing (Spark or similar technologies) is a plus.
