This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and enhance healthcare data integrations and transformation pipelines.

• Implement comprehensive testing to guarantee high data integrity.

• Create, execute, and oversee intricate domain and business logic models for Accorded’s Acumen product.

• Collaborate with Actuarial and Product teams.

• Engage directly with customers to provide data integrations.

• Offer technical troubleshooting and resolve issues within pipelines.

• Take part in code reviews.

• Uphold stringent code quality standards.

• Utilize modern tools, including AI-assisted development, in an effective and responsible manner.

• Influence architectural decisions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of engineering experience working with data products directly.

• Practical experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial data (payor or provider side).

• Proficient in healthcare data, ideally claims and eligibility/enrollment data.

• Strong skills in SQL and Python.

• Extensive background in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

• Production experience with cloud data warehouses like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.

• Experience working directly with an analytics product and operating or supporting an analytics delivery team.

• Proven ability to effectively and responsibly utilize AI tools for development.

• Professional experience with dbt (preferred).

• Hands-on experience implementing automated data testing and monitoring frameworks such as Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, or dbt tests (preferred).

• A history of thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high autonomy and direct product ownership (preferred).

• Demonstrated capability to interface directly with external clients/partners for technical integration scoping, data onboarding, and hands-on troubleshooting (preferred).

• Remote candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
