Senior Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Focus: Architecture, solution design, and data mapping

• We are seeking a Data Architect to define and enhance robust, scalable, data-driven architectures that align business strategy with technology.

• Gather and refine requirements from business stakeholders and technical teams

• Design comprehensive architectures encompassing ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption

• Assess technical options (trade-offs) taking into account cost, risk, and time-to-market

• Create architecture artifacts and lead validation sessions

⛳️ Requirements

• Architectures (HLD and LLD) tailored to use cases

• ADRs documenting technical decisions and their justifications

• Diagrams (C4, data flow, integrations, security, deployment)

• Data mapping and lineage (source → transformation → consumption)

• Data classification in compliance with LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law)

• Gather and refine requirements from business stakeholders and technical teams

• Design comprehensive architectures encompassing ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption

• Assess technical options (trade-offs) taking into account cost, risk, and time-to-market

• Create architecture artifacts and lead validation sessions

• Develop and enhance the Data Map (domains, sources, pipelines, consumers)

• Establish data standards and taxonomies (including classification – LGPD)

• Conduct domain-specific conceptual and logical modeling

• Ensure adherence to LGPD requirements (personal data handling, retention, and disposal)

• Support governance and information security practices

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Platform, Security, Product, and Analytics teams

• Engage in architecture rituals (reviews, committees, ADRs)
