Senior Data and Communication Networks Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate, manage, and sustain data connectivity and communication environments, ensuring their availability, performance, and security;

• Address incidents, problems, requests, and modifications related to network infrastructure;

• Execute configurations, changes, and optimizations on network devices and services;

• Conduct network asset management activities, including analysis, support, and configuration of equipment and protocols;

• Configure and oversee switches (core and access), routers, and other network assets;

• Manage LAN, WAN, and wireless environments, including access points and controllers;

• Implement and oversee dynamic and static routing, along with their protocols;

• Monitor circuits and perform preventive maintenance on the network infrastructure;

• Collaborate with vendors and carriers/operators to provide support and resolve incidents;

• Establish standards, parameters, and best practices for network infrastructure configuration;

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity and performance;

• Engage in infrastructure projects, contributing technical specifications and enhancing the environment;

• Prepare and maintain current technical documentation;

• Create technical materials and share best practices across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field;

• Experience in the relevant specialty and as a Wireless Network Administrator;

• ITIL 4 Foundation training with a minimum of 12 (twelve) hours of instruction;

• Official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or a higher qualification;

• Completion of the SD-WAN Architect course;

• Official Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP Enterprise) certification or a higher credential, or an equivalent certification from other vendors that demonstrates comparable expertise in routing, switching, enterprise networking, and network security technologies;

• Official Cisco Certified Network Professional Data Center (CCNP Data Center) certification or a higher credential, or an equivalent certification from other vendors that demonstrates similar proficiency in data center network infrastructure technologies, including:

• high-density switching;

• fabric networks;

• Ethernet fabrics/meshes;

• VXLAN-based networks;

• network segmentation;

• software-defined networking (SDN) for data centers;

• network automation;

• security policies;

• network virtualization;

• integration with hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
