Senior Data Analytics Engineer – BI, LATAM

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for Reporting Reliability & Data Quality

• Ensure that dashboards and reports are precise, dependable, and consistently accessible

• Establish monitoring, alerting, and SLAs for essential reporting assets

• Analyze and resolve data issues through thorough root-cause analysis

• Develop Scalable Data Models

• Design and enhance SQL transformations and data models

• Optimize dataset performance and reporting queries

• Minimize duplication by centralizing business logic within the data layer

• Provide High-Impact BI Solutions

• Create and sustain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools

• Convert business requirements into scalable BI solutions

• Execute projects with clear estimations and predictable outcomes

• Ensure Data Trust & Observability

• Implement data validation checks and anomaly detection mechanisms

• Proactively detect issues before they affect stakeholders

• Enhance overall data quality throughout pipelines and reporting

• Collaborate with the Business

• Serve as a trusted partner for Marketing and commercial teams

• Define and uphold key metrics (CAC, ROAS, conversion funnels, etc.)

• Produce insights that directly impact business decisions

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, BI, or Data Engineering

• Proficient SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization)

• Extensive experience with BI tools (Tableau or similar)

• Experience in building and maintaining data models and pipelines

• Proven track record of taking ownership of production reporting and data quality

• Ability to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with the AWS stack (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, etc.)

• Knowledge of dbt, Airflow, or modern ELT frameworks

• Experience in marketing analytics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, funnels, retention)
