Senior Data Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Data Analytics Engineer within the Data Analytics Data Platform (DADP) team, you will analyze, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions utilizing the Microsoft Analytics stack.

• The Senior Data Analytics Engineer collaborates directly with clients to ensure that their expectations are met and that their business decision-making tools are effectively addressed.

• This position requires expertise in analytical and problem-solving skills, along with experience in creating scalable and reliable data solutions through the development of data analytics solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering.

• Your experience in data engineering should encompass Azure technologies and a familiarity with contemporary data platform technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Fabric.

• A solid understanding of Agile engineering practices is essential.

• Extensive familiarity and experience in areas such as data warehouse and lakehouse methodologies, including medallion architecture; data ETL/ELT processes; data profiling and anomaly detection; data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball); SQL; a strong foundation in relational database platforms; and DevOps/Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery.

• Increasing familiarity and experience with Python is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with organizational abilities are necessary.

• A commitment to ongoing education and certification relevant to the position is desired.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.

• Previous consulting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
