Senior Data Analyst – Post Payment Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate extensive and intricate healthcare claims datasets to facilitate post-payment analytics, payment integrity initiatives, and program objectives.

• Create, sustain, and enhance analytical datasets, reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Databricks and other analytical tools to meet business and operational requirements.

• Partner with program managers, functional leads, technical teams, and government clients to collect, interpret, and convert business needs into actionable analytical solutions.

• Conduct advanced data analysis to uncover payment trends, anomalies, overpayments, and avenues for operational enhancement while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• Validate, reconcile, and oversee healthcare claims data to guarantee consistency, completeness, and adherence to established data governance standards.

• Deliver analytical expertise and insights to stakeholders by presenting findings, communicating insights, and promoting data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be acceptable.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics, data analysis, or business intelligence activities.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in developing analytical solutions using Databricks.

• Proven experience with healthcare claims data, including analysis, validation, and interpretation of large and complex datasets.

• Experience in creating reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical products to support business operations and executive decision-making.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for process improvement.

• Experience in translating business requirements into analytical solutions and presenting technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and best practices for maintaining data integrity.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work autonomously in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
