This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Take charge of the Corporate Dashboard Portfolio: Design, develop, and sustain Tableau dashboards that encompass essential corporate metrics, primarily focusing on ARR, incremental ARR, net revenue retention (NRR), acquisition, upsell, downsell, and churn.
• Provide Analytical Insights: Move beyond mere reporting by proactively identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities within corporate and revenue data, while presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Act as the main analytics contact for executive and cross-functional teams, translating business inquiries into data-driven responses.
• Write and Enhance SQL: Query extensive databases to extract, transform, and validate data for dashboards and ad hoc analyses.
• Ensure Data Quality: Partner with data engineering to guarantee that upstream data pipelines deliver accurate and timely inputs for reporting.
• Promote Continuous Improvement: Spot opportunities to enhance existing dashboards, automate manual reporting tasks, and incorporate new analytical capabilities, including AI-assisted tools when suitable.
• Document and Standardize: Develop clear definitions, data dictionaries, and best practices for corporate and ARR-related metrics throughout the organization.
• Over 5 years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or analytics engineering role, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-revenue context.
• Proficiency in SQL. You can write efficient, well-structured queries and are adept at handling large, complex datasets. Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift) is a significant advantage.
• Expertise in Tableau. You have created polished, production-ready dashboards from the ground up — not just modified existing views. You comprehend calculated fields, LOD expressions, performance optimization, and publishing/governance workflows.
• Strong executive communication skills. You are at ease presenting to senior leaders, addressing challenging questions, and simplifying complex data into clear narratives.
• Solid business acumen. You grasp corporate performance metrics and SaaS fundamentals — ARR, MRR, NRR, churn, expansion, contraction — and understand how they relate to the broader business landscape.
• Self-motivated and proactive. You take ownership of your area, anticipate stakeholder requirements, and do not wait for direction on what to analyze. Strong critical thinking and intellectual curiosity are essential.
• Unlimited paid time off, 12 paid holidays, along with 4 additional global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares.
