This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Convert intricate datasets into practical insights.
• Develop and sustain analytics infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data-driven decision-making and enhance product offerings.
• Manage the complete analytics lifecycle—from data modeling and dashboard creation to experimentation and KPI formulation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics).
• Over 5 years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence position.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, Pyspark (preferred), and other languages and standards for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience in a collaborative coding environment (e.g., GitHub).
• Familiarity with data science, analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Databricks, Looker, Power BI), with Databricks being a preferred choice.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of APIs and structured data formats (e.g., JSON, DataFrames) for data integration and system interaction.
• Capability to convey insights clearly and succinctly to various stakeholders.
• Understanding of data lakes and data warehousing concepts, along with experience in data pipelines (e.g., medallion architecture, pyspark notebooks, and AWS S3).
• Familiarity with business systems and their respective data structures is advantageous (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Jira, Amplitude, Gainsight, etc.).
