Data Analyst, AI & Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze extensive and intricate datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, risks, and business prospects.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, recurring reports, and self-service analytics solutions.

• Write effective SQL queries to facilitate business reporting, ad hoc analysis, and data validation.

• Collaborate with analytics engineering and data engineering teams to authenticate and utilize curated datasets.

• Aid in the design, testing, and validation of data models employed in reporting and analytics workflows.

• Convert business inquiries into measurable KPIs, analytical frameworks, and reporting specifications.

• Conduct data quality assessments, investigate reporting discrepancies, and assist in root cause analysis.

• Document business logic, metric definitions, data sources, reporting methodologies, and assumptions.

• Assist with workforce analytics, headcount reporting, workforce movement analysis, forecasting, and operational reporting.

• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Operations, Product, and business leadership.

• Identify avenues for automating manual reporting processes and enhancing analytics scalability.

• Support automation initiatives aimed at minimizing repetitive tasks and enhancing reporting consistency.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools when suitable to bolster analysis, documentation, workflow development, and reporting efficiency.

• Validate AI-assisted outputs leveraging strong analytical judgment, business context, and data quality standards.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of reporting standards, analytics processes, and data governance practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a similar analytical position.

• Strong expertise in SQL for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and validation.

• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.

• Proficient in building dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or AWS QuickSight.

• Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling concepts, and analytical data structures.

• Capable of working with large datasets, intricate business logic, and multiple data sources.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.

• Ability to handle ad hoc analysis requests while prioritizing recurring reporting responsibilities.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.

• Ability to document assumptions, methodologies, business rules, and reporting logic clearly.
