This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Lead impactful projects from inception to delivery, transforming ambiguous business queries into tangible outcomes.
• Design and evaluate experiments, including A/B tests and alternative pre/post or quasi-experimental methodologies.
• Analyze experimental results with integrity, even when they are unsuccessful or inconclusive.
• Provide recommendations grounded in evidence rather than solely generating dashboards.
• Establish the metrics that guide the company and evaluate how business levers affect objectives.
• Develop ETL/ELT transformations and curated datasets for various business applications.
• Assist with the migration to dbt.
• Contribute to building AI Analyst, an internal tool that empowers stakeholders to independently access data insights.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, R&D, and engineering teams.
• Set expectations and proactively communicate delays along with justifications and revised timelines.
• Extensive senior-level experience as a data analyst within the SaaS industry.
• Proficient in modeling NDR, expansion, contraction, and MRR.
• Skilled in designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests.
• Capable of employing pre/post or quasi-experimental methods when clean tests are unfeasible.
• Ability to deliver evidence-based recommendations and convey confidence effectively.
• Expertise in SQL.
• Proficiency in Python for analytical tasks beyond SQL's scope.
• Comfortable using Looker or a similar tool.
• Strong background in data modeling and analytics engineering.
• Practical experience with dbt.
• Genuine interest in AI and its current applications in workflow.
• Broad knowledge across product, marketing, R&D, and revenue-related inquiries.
• Capability to lead projects independently within a streamlined remote team.
• Experience in data science, including the development and deployment of ML models, is a plus.
• Principal or staff-level experience is an added advantage.
