Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create data solutions utilizing Python, focusing on quality, performance, and scalability;

• Design and sustain REST APIs for seamless integration between various systems and applications;

• Construct, enhance, and oversee ETL/ELT data pipelines;

• Process and convert large datasets using Apache Spark and PySpark;

• Develop SQL queries and analyses to aid in decision-making;

• Engage in the development, training, validation, and monitoring of analytical and predictive models;

• Utilize statistical methods and machine learning to derive insights and intelligent solutions;

• Create and incorporate solutions using Generative Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs);

• Embed AI solutions into products, services, and business operations;

• Maintain best practices for code versioning with Git;

• Document solutions, pipelines, and data workflows;

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in agile settings;

• Contribute to the ongoing development of data and AI engineering architecture and practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Statistics, or related disciplines;

• Proven experience in Python development;

• Background in building and utilizing REST APIs;

• Familiarity with system integration and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure;

• Experience with Apache Spark and PySpark;

• Understanding of creating and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines;

• Strong SQL capabilities for querying, analysis, and data manipulation;

• Knowledge of applied statistics and data analysis methodologies;

• Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling;

• Familiarity with Generative Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs);

• Experience with version control using Git;

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, engaging with diverse areas and stakeholders.
