This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Business Intelligence Strategy: Convert the client's business goals into comprehensive information management and data intelligence strategies.

• Pipeline Engineering (ETL): Gather, organize, transform, and process extensive datasets from various sources, ensuring the development and upkeep of resilient data pipelines.

• Data Visualization Culture: Spearhead the modeling, creation, and presentation of metrics via analytical dashboards and intelligent panels using Amazon QuickSight, enabling leadership to make data-driven decisions.

• Security and Governance: Guarantee the control, integrity, quality, and utmost security concerning access to the processed data.

• Squad Collaboration: Engage actively in both business refinement and technical development stages, functioning as part of a team within a culture of continuous delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in ETL/ELT: Demonstrated hands-on experience in the processes of collecting, transforming, and loading high-volume data.

• AWS Data Platform: Extensive expertise in AWS services such as AWS Glue, EMR, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, and SNS.

• Programming Languages: Advanced skills in Python and PySpark for managing large datasets.

• Modeling and NoSQL Databases: Proven experience in designing scalable data models utilizing MongoDB, DynamoDB, and the Hadoop ecosystem.

• Software Quality: Practical experience in executing unit tests and performance tests to verify the functionality of data pipelines.

• Industry Certifications: Current official certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and/or AWS Certified Data Engineer.

• Quality and Observability: Familiarity with Data Quality frameworks and practices related to data observability.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Practical knowledge in provisioning with Terraform and monitoring through CloudWatch.
