This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• The Transition Manager is tasked with planning, coordinating, and overseeing the complete transition of data and reporting services from development teams and partners into a newly established managed service.
• Establish and oversee the transition plan, governance schedule, status updates, RAID management, and phase exit readiness throughout contracting, mobilization, transition, cutover, and stabilization in partnership with our AMS provider.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from internal teams, current suppliers, incoming service providers, and platform partners to ensure the timely achievement of transition dependencies.
• Direct the comprehensive knowledge transfer process for in-scope services, encompassing data models, platforms, technical components, and operational methodologies.
• Outline the overall reporting/analytical services and capabilities model to support the D&A strategy and operational framework.
• Manage transition cutover activities, including access readiness, operational handover checkpoints, communications, and hypercare/stabilization planning.
• Demonstrated experience in managing service transitions or environments of managed services, ideally within analytics, data, SAP reporting (BW/Datasphere).
• Proven ability to coordinate transitions among multiple internal teams, service providers, and third-party vendors.
• Strong knowledge of service management processes, including incident management, service requests, governance, SLAs, and operational readiness.
• Experience in knowledge transfer, documentation governance, SOP creation/review, and service acceptance activities.
• Solid experience with ITSM and delivery tools such as ServiceNow and Azure DevOps in the context of data and reporting is essential.
• Familiarity with complex analytics or enterprise technology environments/programs involving data platforms, reporting services, infrastructure/platform dependencies, and external support providers across multiple phases: planning, execution of cutover, hypercare, and stabilization.
• Occasional business travel may be required (up to a maximum of once per month).
