Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Facilitate collaboration with business stakeholders to establish and enhance requirements for complex reporting and data solutions.

• Establish architecture and standards for scalable and governed Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.

• Expertise in crafting optimized SQL queries for intricate data extraction, cleansing, and transformation.

• Act as a technical leader by defining and upholding best practices for data quality, governance, and validation.

• Perform in-depth analysis on large, complex datasets to uncover strategic trends and actionable insights.

• Function as a pivotal resource in client-facing consulting, driving customer engagement, shaping technical solutions for clients, and presenting complex architectural and visualization decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• 4–8 years of relevant industry experience as a hands-on practitioner in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.

• Proficiency in SQL along with advanced expertise in data modeling techniques.

• In-depth knowledge of Power BI (including DAX and Power Query (M)) and other leading BI tools.

• Expertise in at least 5 key data/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, dbt, Python/R for advanced analytics).

• Extensive expertise across all 5 major cloud and data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks).

• Proven track record of leading customer engagement and influencing technical direction in a consulting setting.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with all stakeholders.
