Senior Cybersecurity Governance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management processes for policy exceptions and ensure that approved exceptions, waivers, and risk acceptance requests are properly documented, monitored, reviewed, and managed in accordance with governance requirements.

• Create, implement, sustain, and continuously enhance the organization's cybersecurity governance framework, strategy, roadmap, and related initiatives.

• Develop, review, update, and manage the approval processes for cybersecurity policies, standards, frameworks, procedures, guidelines, and governance artifacts.

• Establish, maintain, and oversee the Cybersecurity Control Library.

• Review and manage revisions to Minimum Baseline Security Standards (MBSS), including the development of templates and ongoing enhancements.

• Keep cybersecurity governance documentation, deliverables, records, and supporting artifacts up to date for audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews.

• Prepare governance reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive briefings for senior management, governance committees, and key stakeholders.

• Develop, monitor, report, and enhance cybersecurity governance KPIs and KRIs.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Quality, Legal, Business Units, and other stakeholders throughout the development, review, and approval of governance artifacts.

• Manage communications, consultations, clarifications, and coordination related to governance among internal stakeholders.

• Support initiatives for awareness and communication regarding cybersecurity governance, policies, standards, controls, and organizational responsibilities.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of cybersecurity governance, compliance posture, and organizational maturity.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.

• Extensive experience in developing and improving cybersecurity governance frameworks, strategies, and roadmaps.

• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing approval cycles for cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.

• Experience in developing and maintaining a cybersecurity control library that aligns with regulatory and business requirements.

• Familiarity with Minimum Baseline Security Standards (MBSS), including the review and update of baseline requirements and templates.

• Proven ability in managing policy exceptions, waivers, and risk acceptance processes, including documentation and periodic reviews.

• Capability to maintain governance records and supporting evidence for audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews.

• Experience in developing governance KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, and executive reports.

• Experience in coordinating governance efforts with infrastructure, legal, quality, and business stakeholders.
