Senior Cyber Incident Response Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Operate within defined methodologies for Incident Response activities.

• Address cyber incidents on behalf of customers.

• Actively seek out adversaries within customer networks.

• Perform in-depth Intrusion analysis focusing on both host and network.

• Engage in malware reverse engineering.

• Provide Digital forensics and Cyber Threat Intelligence services.

• Conduct proactive client services, including compromise assessments.

• Assess and suggest tools and technologies for incident response.

• Ensure all incidents are resolved with appropriate stakeholder involvement.

• Strong understanding of malware, emerging threats, and adversary TTPs.

• Ability to interact directly with customers.

• Capacity to manage multiple technical and operational challenges simultaneously.

• Excellent grasp of customer-related issues.

• Skill in resolving complex problems.

• Solid understanding of ITIL processes.

• Initiative to lead all incidents to resolution.

• Experience in incident management and effective communication.

• Ability to adhere to deadlines while following established processes.

• Knowledge of ITIL, SANS, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and ISO 20000 standards.

• Experience in developing reusable processes and data architectures.

• Proficiency in Host Intrusion Analysis for Windows (Endpoint and Server) and Unix.

• Expertise in Network Intrusion Analysis.

• Familiarity with various malware categories and reverse engineering techniques.

• Experience using security tools for detection, diagnosis, containment, and remediation.

• Extensive knowledge of Windows server systems.

• Proven experience in creating and maintaining a security incident response plan (IRP).

• Qualifications in Security Essentials (GSEC), Hacker Techniques (GCIH), Host (GCFE/GCFA), Network Forensics (GNFA), Malware Analysis (GREM), and Digital Forensics specializations.

• Possession of CREST certifications and Certified Ethical Hacker credentials.
