This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Configure client accounts; tailor backup policies and storage solutions; assist with onboarding; orient stakeholders; navigate admin portals; introduce support resources.
• Identify opportunities for migration; assess usage and environment; facilitate success planning and strategy sessions; align business objectives with product adoption.
• Perform assessments; develop protection strategies; recommend software products and architectures within the Veeam Data Platform.
• Conduct recovery simulations; utilize the Veeam Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM) to monitor and report on resilience posture; provide quarterly resilience reports.
• Monitor indicators to proactively identify churn risk; establish mitigation strategies; collaborate on renewal plans with actionable technical insights.
• Create business cases; define total cost of ownership (TCO); articulate value propositions for growth; schedule review checkpoints with stakeholders.
• Engage with CISO/CIO stakeholders by providing clear updates on risk, status, and opportunities; support context for executive discussions and alignment with roadmaps.
• Collaborate on campaigns and initiatives informed by marketing to enhance adoption and expansion.
• Work within a long-term account assignment model linked to annual recurring revenue (ARR) and growth potential, typically managing 5–50 Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts with over $100K ARR.
• Take ownership of the technical success plan and adoption roadmap; influence pricing, commercial terms, and renewal conditions in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success leadership.
• Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles centered on data backup and recovery (e.g., Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager); this is considered a mid-level position.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Practical expertise across operating systems, virtualization, storage solutions, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery & resilience best practices.
• Significant experience in designing and implementing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations; familiarity with Veeam platform capabilities is advantageous.
• VMCE certification is required (may be obtained post-hire within an agreed timeframe).
• Preferred industry certifications include AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) and Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Expert.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps and quantifiable value.
• Skills in engaging with executive stakeholders (CISO/CIO) and the ability to synthesize technical, business, and risk signals into clear recommendations.
