Senior Customer Service Representative, Patient Scheduling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Nurse Managers/Supervisors, field personnel, and patients to arrange home infusion visits within a designated region of branches.

• Complete all assignments for nurses related to patient visits, adjust schedules based on patient availability, assign new patients to suitable nurses, and actively monitor all patient appointments to ensure accuracy.

• Serve as the coordinator for nursing referrals by working with the pharmacy, reimbursement, and nursing departments while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Communicate with various staff, departments, and prescribers through fax, email, instant messaging, and phone.

• Monitor personal email as well as nursing mailboxes for necessary follow-ups, prioritizing requests accordingly.

• Manage multiple Excel documents to assess tasks that need to be completed and their urgency.

• Respond promptly to inquiries from patients, field staff, and other departments regarding nursing and patient referrals and schedules.

• Investigate and research issues to provide effective resolutions.

• Demonstrate initiative in problem-solving, with the ability to multitask efficiently and apply critical thinking skills.

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry in relevant systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant Customer Service experience is required.

• High proficiency and consistent use of Excel and Outlook are essential.

• A proactive work ethic with the capability to be managed and trained virtually.

• Strong attention to detail is necessary.

• Exceptional written and verbal professional communication skills are required.

• Capability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, and make independent decisions.
