Senior Customer Development Manager – East Coast, Central Time Zones

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the functional management, leadership, and facilitation of all sales-related initiatives for designated Distributors.

• Assist the team with Nestlé’s Co. systems (Osprey) and customer systems.

• Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership, strategic thinking, and the capacity to operate effectively in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

• Guide, mentor, and develop direct reports through clear goal-setting, continuous performance feedback, and regular development discussions.

• Provide leadership and guidance within a matrixed organization, influencing cross-functional partners and project teams to reach common goals.

• Oversee and manage distributor partnerships (e.g., KeHE, UNFI) in alignment with retailer strategies.

• Implement our brand and category growth strategy that aligns with customer objectives.

• Identify new growth opportunities; create and execute strategic growth plans that align with corporate objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 7 years of sales experience is preferred, particularly experience managing or supporting strategic Natural Channel customers.

• Previous experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional groups within a complex organization is preferred.

• Experience in managing or closely partnering with distributors in a multi-tier retail framework is strongly preferred.

• Background in consumer goods, especially Vitamins and supplements, is highly preferred.

• Prior experience utilizing syndicated data to assess customer needs and develop the most effective pricing and promotional strategies to enhance sales and market share for the company and its clients.
