This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead efforts in collecting overdue receivables to enhance Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and reduce exposure to bad debt.
• Assess customer creditworthiness while establishing, monitoring, and adjusting credit limits based on financial evaluations and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Order Operations, and Accounting to address invoice disputes, billing challenges, purchase order inconsistencies, and other obstacles to payment.
• Track accounts receivable aging, unapplied cash, customer deductions, and collection performance, providing precise reporting, cash forecasts, and risk assessments to Finance leadership.
• Mentor, develop, and oversee the Credit and Collections team by setting clear objectives, accountability, and best practices.
• Propel process enhancements, automation projects, and improvements to credit policies, collections workflows, and reporting capabilities.
• Engage in ongoing security awareness training and adhere to company policies.
• Identify and report security risks to the relevant Executive Leadership Team member and actively support remediation efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 7 to 10+ years of progressive experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or finance operations, including previous leadership of a credit and collections team.
• Experience managing an accounts receivable portfolio of at least $1.1 billion, reflecting the complexity and scale of the company's operations.
• Strong understanding of commercial credit analysis, customer risk assessment, collections strategies, dispute resolution, and accounts receivable management in a B2B context.
• Proven experience managing a large, intricate accounts receivable portfolio with enterprise clients, including handling purchase orders, contract terms, and customer payment processes.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities, with the capacity to influence stakeholders across Finance, Sales, and Operations while fostering process improvements.
