This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manages the daily operations of the Collections team.
• Directly oversees a portfolio of intricate, sensitive, or escalated collection, loss mitigation, and asset recovery cases.
• Creates and executes strategies aimed at reducing loan and share losses.
• Conducts thorough analyses of delinquent accounts.
• Establishes and nurtures relationships with members who are delinquent.
• Addresses escalated collection calls concerning overdue loans.
• Monitors and evaluates collection performance metrics.
• Oversees the management and liquidation of repossessed and foreclosed loan collateral.
• Remains updated on regulatory requirements pertaining to loan and share loss mitigation.
• Minimum of 3 years in a management role.
• At least 5 years of relevant collections experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
• Strong grasp of financial calculations, encompassing interest rates, loan balances, and payment schedules.
• Expertise in data analysis and statistical methods.
• Exceptional mathematical skills for performing month-over-month flux analysis.
• Basic mathematical abilities, including the calculation of rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Proficient in fundamental applications within a Windows environment, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Moderate typing skills at a rate of 40 words per minute.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.
