This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the designated portfolio to ensure achievement of objectives.
• Strategically plan and coordinate departmental resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Create standardized processes and set performance benchmarks.
• Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff while spotting opportunities for their professional growth.
• Ensure that the department meets productivity, compliance, and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct performance audits of staff as necessary.
• Identify issues, outline alternatives, and propose solutions for process enhancements.
• Review and revise policies and procedures as required.
• Maintain open and regular communication with other departments, payers, and vendors.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience is necessary.
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare billing, collections, and/or patient business services management is required.
• Experience in Home Infusion is essential for this position.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to effectively manage staff.
• Competence to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and third-party payer policies.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality across all tasks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in engaging professionally, developing, and managing relationships across various levels and departments.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of CPR is preferred.
• Experience with third-party payer regulations, billing practices, and reimbursement methods is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
