This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ You will serve as the final checkpoint for outbound creative materials β including copy decks, scripts, captions, and assets β before they are delivered to clients or published.
β’ The primary focus will be on our Tier 1, high-compliance accounts, beginning with NutriMax.
β’ You'll collaborate with Valen to establish a tiered client framework (low, medium, high compliance) and implement stringent claim-checking for regulated projects β such as pet health, supplements, and other sectors where the distinction between "supports" and "cures" is not just a matter of semantics, but a legal one.
β’ You will manage claim libraries, do-not-say lists, and approved phrase banks for each Tier 1 brand.
β’ Brand standards will also be your responsibility. Logos, colors, typography, and tone of voice will be verified against each client's guidelines, rather than from memory.
β’ You will maintain live brand standards summaries for the top accounts to ensure the studio has a single reference point instead of multiple.
β’ Subsequently, you will transform all of this into a structured system. This includes checklists, review templates, SOPs, and pre-flight checks categorized by output type.
β’ Quality assurance will evolve from being a person to a scalable process within the agency.
β’ You will identify error patterns, report trends to leadership on a monthly basis, and suggest workflow modifications that can mitigate revision cycles before they escalate into issues.
β’ You will engage with creative, strategy, account management, and project management teams β acting as the calm, constructive voice in discussions who identifies issues early without causing delays.
β’ As volume increases, you will assist in mentoring junior QA or proofreaders and outline what the QA support structure should look like once the workload requires it.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience in QA, proofreading, or compliance within an agency, regulated sector, or a high-volume creative setting.
β’ Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for at least one compliance-sensitive category (such as FDA, FTC, pet health, supplements, finance, or similar).
β’ A keen eye for brand standards β including logos, colors, typography, and tone of voice β across multiple concurrent clients.
β’ Strong understanding of platform specifications for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and the various static and video formats they accept.
β’ Demonstrated ability to create processes from the ground up: including SOPs, checklists, review templates, and claim libraries.
β’ Comfortable managing high volumes and tight deadlines without compromising standards.
β’ Effective and constructive communicator β capable of raising concerns without hindering workflow or putting colleagues on the defensive.
β’ Highly organized, systematic, and able to maintain oversight of multiple Tier 1 accounts simultaneously.
