Senior CPQ Business Analyst, Revenue Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.

• Convert business needs into user stories and functional specifications.

• Assist in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and UAT coordination.

• Lead workshops and collaborative sessions with business and IT stakeholders to collect requirements, align priorities, and facilitate decision-making.

• Examine CPQ data and processes to pinpoint gaps and areas for improvement, offering recommendations in line with BD’s long-term Revenue Technology strategy and the unified blueprint.

• Document legacy and offline contract or quoting methodologies (PDFs, SharePoint, spreadsheets, regional systems) and transition them into a standardized model.

• Define “what good looks like” by developing a deep understanding of the business, ensuring that solutions meet the actual needs of the quote-to-contract process.

• Serve as a bridge between business users and technical delivery teams (IT/TDS and vendor partners).

• Create reports and dashboards that cater to business needs and measure Revenue Technology KPIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (any preference in type or major).

• Over 5 years of combined experience as a business analyst supporting CPQ or quote-to-cash systems.

• Proven experience in systematizing new business processes, efficiencies, and improvements.

• Agile certification; strong background in the Scaled Agile (SAFe) development framework.

• Experience engaging with both “business” and “technical” partners.

• Experience across multiple technology platforms with a willingness to gain proficiency beyond the required specialty (e.g., Oracle CPQ, Conga/Apttus CLM, Bids & Tenders).

• Proven ability to drive organizational change by influencing others without direct authority.

• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

• Certification in Oracle and/or Conga/Salesforce CPQ platform.
