Business Analyst – Agile Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold the product roadmap for designated capability areas.

• Lead sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective ceremonies for the designated development team.

• Oversee the team's Jira sprint board, including user stories, acceptance criteria, story point estimation, and backlog management.

• Transform Mission Architect operational effectiveness guidance into user stories ready for sprint execution, complete with testable acceptance criteria.

• Manage team-level contributions to the requirements traceability matrix and monitor requirement coverage.

• Engage in cross-team dependency planning sessions led by the Solution Architect and Mission Architect.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to secure a Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Agile Practitioner on Scrum delivery teams, with expertise in Jira.

• Proven experience in converting stakeholder requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria with formal traceability.

• Familiarity with coordinating user acceptance testing alongside operational stakeholders and compiling results.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of collaborating across Government and technical team interfaces.

• Certification as a Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner.
