Senior Counsel, Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage the legal advisory relationship for teams focused on stablecoin, payments, and crypto infrastructure.

• Provide guidance to product managers and engineers regarding U.S. and international regulatory obligations.

• Facilitate the resolution of innovative legal challenges by assessing potential risks.

• Collaborate across various departments including Compliance, Communications, Finance, Tax, and Security.

• Influence the team's strategy concerning emerging regulatory landscapes.

• Develop scalable legal processes and comprehensive playbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a minimum of 7 years of legal experience and active membership in a U.S. state bar.

• Extensive knowledge of key U.S. and international payments and financial services regulations.

• Proven capability to offer risk-adjusted legal advice.

• History of successfully integrating with cross-functional teams.

• Responsible use of generative AI technologies.
