Senior Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance on AI products, SaaS solutions, marketplace challenges, payment systems, advertising, privacy issues, and emerging technologies.

• Assist with strategic legal initiatives, including litigation, intellectual property, and regulatory affairs.

• Oversee legal evaluations of marketing materials, promotions, customer-facing disclosures, and market entry strategies.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse array of commercial contracts.

• Collaborate across departments to address customer escalations and disputes.

• Conduct regular privacy assessments and collaborate on intricate privacy issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7+ years of pertinent experience.

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with others.

• Proficient in navigating uncertainty and making informed decisions.

• A keen interest in technology and a proven enthusiasm for AI-driven products.

• Strong capability to grasp technical concepts.

• A demonstrated growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and openness to feedback.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Outstanding legal and analytical capabilities.

• A solid understanding of and passion for the Houzz Pro platform.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to a state bar.
