Senior Corporate Development Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Acting as the forefront representative of Vencora's acquisition initiatives

• Building and maintaining connections with CEOs and owners of international companies

• Innovatively sourcing leads for vertical market software enterprises

• Developing and enhancing a proprietary database of industry contacts

• Creating and executing prospecting campaigns through diverse media channels

• Regularly conducting direct outreach to business owners and executives

• Collecting information on target companies and assessing potential acquisition opportunities

• Presenting high-potential prospects to the internal M&A team

• Traveling for tradeshows, prospecting visits, and in-person meetings as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or outbound sales, preferably in a B2B or M&A context

• Strong academic track record in an undergraduate business degree

• Proficiency in English

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven success in cold calling and outbound prospecting efforts

• Capability to manage a lead pipeline and consistently surpass outreach and engagement goals

• Confidence in presenting to business owners and executive-level stakeholders

• Strong analytical abilities and sound business acumen

• Experience in M&A, software, or fintech is considered advantageous

• Familiarity with Salesforce is an added benefit

• Professional demeanor, exceptional time management skills, and a tenacious, independent work ethic

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across remote teams and diverse cultural backgrounds

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 20%
