This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.
• Deliver technical, clinical, educational, and sales assistance to ensure the safe adoption and expansion of the Medtronic CoreValve System and upcoming catheter-based therapy technologies.
• Collaborate closely with implanting teams and the Medtronic Catheter-based Therapies (CBT) and CVG field organizations to enhance procedural and practice success.
• Offer clinical expertise to TAVR implanting centers, including 'scrubbing in' for TAVI implant procedures to aid in loading valves onto delivery catheters and providing technical support following the instructions for use/trial protocol and best practices to promote procedural consistency and optimal clinical outcomes.
• Support site performance to ensure safe growth, assisting with educational and training initiatives for physicians, hospital support staff, and Medtronic personnel.
• Remain informed on and communicate clinical data related to Medtronic products and TAVR therapy.
• Collaborate and strategize with territory sales representatives and the CVG field organization to meet sales targets and implement business strategies.
• High School Diploma with 8 years of experience in a clinical or sales healthcare setting, specifically in selling or supporting interventional cardiology, vascular, or surgical products; OR an Associate’s Degree with 6 years of experience in the same areas; OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Echocardiology background is strongly preferred.
• Associate’s Degree in engineering, nursing, or a science-related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Science.
• Proficient in the use of wires, balloons, catheters, and stents.
• Exceptional understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Experience in communicating product market advantages to physicians and hospital administration.
• Proven experience managing multiple accounts.
• Background in teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support staff.
• Imaging interpretation experience (TTE or Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), CT, Angiograms).
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent influencing and consulting abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Capability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Solid project management skills with experience in coordinating programs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device industry.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across various organizational levels and functions.
• Capability to coordinate and participate in multiple tasks/projects within a fast-paced environment while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
