Licensed Clinical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Deliver therapeutic counseling services and develop treatment plans for a predominantly young adult demographic.

• Concurrently document and submit HIPAA compliant records using TimelyCare's electronic health record system.

• Create and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each counseling session.

• Collaborate across various teams and departments to ensure continuity of care as required.

• Comply with established standards for documentation quality and uphold the code of ethics.

• Partner with students/clients to set and refine treatment goals, documenting the process thoroughly.

• Employ active listening techniques and evidence-based practices (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) to foster rapport, set boundaries, and enhance student/client care.

• Timely submit necessary documentation in the EHR (the TimelyCare platform).

• Be prepared to adjust to the evolving needs of the population we serve.

• Maintain composure and calmness during potentially high-stress situations.

• Respond with empathy and professionalism, meeting clients at their current state.

• Demonstrate respectful behavior towards all students, colleagues, and support staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Active State License(s) in Alaska.

• Proficient clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening capabilities.

• Experience in crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning.

• Background in delivering services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, or experience in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling setting.
