This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +8 more states.
• Practice at the peak of your qualifications by ensuring that patients are appropriately screened for concerning symptoms or findings, with the ability to refer them to other Vori healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Conduct initial and ongoing digital physical therapy evaluations in accordance with APTA standards of practice and state regulations.
• Exhibit excellent and clear clinical decision-making skills with patients across the spectrum of musculoskeletal care, utilizing a biopsychosocial model.
• Create a Plan of Treatment, implement it effectively, and manage it safely and efficiently for each patient, incorporating short- and long-term goals, collaboration with other Vori team members, and necessary patient and caregiver involvement.
• Regularly adjust the Plan of Treatment based on patient progress.
• Document patient progress in accordance with approved medical documentation and facility procedures.
• Maintain professional and technical expertise by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional literature, and more.
• Communicate and collaborate with other Vori care team members as required to facilitate patient care and maintain organized and effective rehabilitation and physical therapy treatment.
• Meet company and quality standards as established by Vori Health.
• Supervise and oversee the work of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), ensuring they provide safe and effective patient care through communication and collaboration, development of treatment plans, co-signing PTA notes, monitoring progress, offering guidance, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards within a physical therapy setting.
• Carry out other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree.
• An active, unencumbered PT license in your home state.
• Your state of residence must be part of the PT Compact.
• Expertise in Orthopedic Physical Therapy: A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital care or outpatient physical therapy clinics, evaluating and treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal pain conditions using a biopsychosocial model.
• OCS certification is a plus.
• Proven history of continuing education and/or post-graduate training in relevant fields.
• Demonstrated competence and enthusiasm for digital care delivery or telehealth: Comfortable evaluating and treating patients remotely using various digital tools and experienced in administering a wide range of physical therapy techniques delivered digitally.
• Completion of the APTA telehealth certificate course series.
• A solid record of aligning patient needs with treatment plans and a proven ability to implement these plans safely and effectively.
• Strong experience in delivering a variety of physical therapy techniques through digital means.
• A strong sense of empathy and the capability to inspire patients to push their limits in a responsible and safe manner.
• Ability to foster effective therapeutic alliances with patients while providing exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail while navigating custom software during patient care delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking capabilities, adaptability, and the ability to devise innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Graceful in managing expectations while striving for continuous improvement.
