This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the integrity of the general ledger through account analysis, reconciliations, and ensuring financial accuracy.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closure procedures for various client engagements.
• Evaluate financial statements, management reports, KPIs, and provide business insights.
• Supervise essential accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and treasury functions.
• Enhance clients' chart of accounts, accounting procedures, and reporting frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP while identifying and addressing accounting and regulatory risks.
• Reinforce internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance standards.
• Propel process enhancements through automation, technology advancements, and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to enhance profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor, coach, and cultivate the accounting team while promoting technical proficiency.
• Work alongside Client CFOs and internal teams to provide outstanding client service.
• Spearhead system implementations, special projects, and initiatives that contribute to the firm's growth.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm or non-profit organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred).
• Over 3 years of client-facing outsourced accounting experience and at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Extensive experience with financial systems and their integrations.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, LMS, NetSuite, Acumatica, and Clio software.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and U.S. tax principles.
• Demonstrated project management and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and confidence.
