Senior Contracts Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review, revise, and negotiate a diverse array of contracts, including Software Agreements for SaaS/Cloud and non-disclosure agreements.

• Ensure all contracts adhere to legal requirements, company policies, and applicable US regulations.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, finance, IT, compliance) to comprehend business needs and integrate them into contract terms.

• Leverage contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms and legal technology tools to efficiently handle contract processes.

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate contractual risks while recommending enhancements to contract templates and workflows.

• Stay informed about technology, cybersecurity, and privacy trends that impact contract negotiations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• At least 6+ years of experience as a contract negotiator for Cloud/SaaS agreements, ideally with a company in a related industry.

• Fundamental knowledge of GDPR and privacy clauses in agreements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Salesforce, and contract management platforms.

• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of key elements of Cloud/SaaS and software license agreements, with the capability to negotiate independently with clients, including Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies.

• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. Clear communicator with outstanding verbal and written skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective in managing work schedules.

• Skilled at conveying contract principles and policies to internal business teams.

• Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic and challenging environment; capable of thinking creatively when faced with unexpected events.

• Excellent customer service skills, both for internal and external clients.

• Genuine interest and knowledge of technology and current trends in the software/IT sector, including cybersecurity and privacy trends.

• Experience in a remote working environment.
