This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with fellow content marketers to establish a holistic content strategy that aligns with brand, demand, and go-to-market objectives.
• Create and sustain a detailed content calendar that spans owned and partner channels.
• Identify content themes that support organizational goals.
• Convert audience insights and market trends into engaging and unique content concepts.
• Coordinate content plans with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal projects.
• Produce and supervise high-quality content in various formats, including blogs, articles, ebooks, white papers, case studies, videos, and sales enablement resources.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external writers, agencies, and subject-matter experts to create audience-specific content.
• Ensure all content is on-brand, tailored to the audience, and optimized for clarity and effectiveness.
• Edit and enhance content to meet quality, voice, and narrative standards.
• Work together with Demand and Growth teams to bolster acquisition, nurturing, and conversion efforts.
• Develop content tailored to buyer journeys, personas, and various stages of the sales funnel.
• Assist with account-based marketing, lifecycle campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Equip Sales and Customer teams with relevant and compelling content that supports pipeline development and retention.
• Seek opportunities to reformat content in innovative ways and utilize a blend of skills, tools, and partnerships to create, promote, and distribute content.
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing and SEO teams to enhance content for discoverability and performance.
• Leverage data and insights to assess content effectiveness and foster continuous improvement.
• Monitor and report on key content metrics such as engagement, conversion, and influence on the pipeline.
• Experiment with new formats, channels, and storytelling methods to amplify impact.
• Act as a content thought partner for Product Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Leadership teams.
• Oversee content distribution workflows.
• Offer guidance and constructive feedback to fellow marketers or contributors.
• Ensure consistency between content, brand voice, and messaging throughout the organization.
• Advocate for content as a strategic growth driver across marketing and the business.
• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in content marketing, editorial, publishing, or storytelling roles.
• Proven ability to develop and implement content strategies that yield measurable outcomes.
• Advanced writing and editing skills with the capability to adjust tone for different formats and audiences.
• Strong knowledge of digital content, SEO principles, and content distribution methods.
• Experience working cross-functionally in dynamic, matrixed environments.
• Background in B2B, SaaS, EdTech, or complex buying environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with content performance analytics and marketing automation tools is preferred.
• Experience in supporting demand generation or product marketing efforts is preferred.
• Proficient in using Adobe or Canva for basic design tasks.
• Capability to direct video editing and perform simple video editing tasks.
