Senior Consumables Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Ensure compliance with relevant GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures while keeping them up to date.

• Adhere to both state and federal employment regulations.

• Achieve or surpass annual revenue and profit targets for the designated region while operating within a defined expense budget.

• Collaborate effectively within a team to facilitate lead sharing, protect the installed base, drive new business consumables/liquids sales, and foster account development.

• Conduct scheduled personalized sales demonstrations for surgeons, operating room personnel, and administrative staff at facilities within the assigned region.

• Maintain, analyze, and leverage territory records and other relevant information to organize, plan, execute, and assess results efficiently.

• Educate and follow up with surgeons, operating room staff, and administration on the operation, use, and application of our products to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

• Provide timely, accurate, and constructive written and verbal communication to management regarding expected monthly sales activities.

• Manage a specific cost center (business) to oversee sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable.

• Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards, and updates related to opportunities, leads, and the sales funnel.

• Identify and implement synergy opportunities with other Zeiss companies, Carl Zeiss Meditec field service, and other corporate partners as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Over five (5+) years of sales experience.

• Strong technical and clinical product knowledge.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software.

• Outstanding negotiation and diplomacy skills.

• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.

• Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid motor vehicle license.
