Senior Consumables Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Safeguard the existing equipment and consumables while driving new business sales for consumables/liquids.

• Adhere to an annual sales budget and create a comprehensive business plan to meet territorial goals.

• Predict the monthly pipeline for consumables/liquids.

• Ensure compliance with relevant GMP and ISO 9001 standards and procedures.

• Achieve or surpass annual revenue and profit targets while operating within a designated expense budget.

• Share leads, maintain the current customer base, expand accounts, and promote new business sales for consumables/liquids.

• Deliver customized sales presentations to surgeons, operating room personnel, and administrative staff.

• Keep, analyze, and leverage territory records and data effectively.

• Educate customers on product usage, operation, and application while following up as necessary.

• Report on sales activities and outline planned monthly activities to management.

• Manage a cost center while overseeing sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable.

• Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards, opportunities, leads, and updates to the sales funnel.

• Identify synergy opportunities among ZEISS companies, field service, and corporate partners.

• Create innovative and profitable marketing strategies to address regional needs.

• Complete documentation and requested information promptly.

• Utilize SFDC, Concur, Fleet, and CurioZ effectively.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational experience.

• A minimum of five (5) years of sales experience.

• Strong technical and clinical knowledge of products.

• Capability to manage various tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

• Outstanding negotiation and diplomacy skills.

• Develop a deep understanding of product applications and their implications for practice management.

• Safely drive a vehicle and retain a valid motor vehicle license.
