Senior Consultative Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Engage with patients, pharmacies, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy.

• Inform members about the appropriate use and objectives of medications.

• Address members' inquiries regarding prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and pharmacotherapy-related health issues via phone and web chat.

• Promote safe, precise, and timely medication usage.

• Resolve medication-related challenges, including prior authorization needs, formulary alternatives, and access issues.

• Diligently document member interactions and recommendations to ensure continuity of care and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Participate in training sessions or meetings that may require occasional travel to Humana offices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Current license with the Board of Pharmacy in the relevant state.

• Capability to engage in Federal prescription programs.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for fostering collaborative solutions.

• Focused, precise, and highly productive work approach.

• Proficient in computer skills.

• Commitment to continuously enhancing consumer experiences.

• Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for home internet access.
