Senior Consultant – Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical envisioning, design, project scope, and collaborate with the project team to implement Azure-based solutions that fulfill our clients' requirements.

• Convert requirements into a technical design by utilizing existing tools, services, and frameworks.

• Lead the design and deployment of client workloads in Azure by offering architectural guidance (including design, implementation, and deployment), assisting in the development of the client’s cloud adoption model, and providing suitable recommendations to address challenges.

• Stay updated on emerging technology trends and their implications for cloud solutions.

• Identify, validate, and enhance opportunities to boost consumption in high-potential customer accounts alongside the sales team, by driving solution architecture for both Microsoft and third-party solutions.

• As a senior consultant, you will be responsible for training, shadowing, and transferring knowledge to junior developers and other technology teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of experience in application development with a focus on C# .NET Framework, Angular, Microservices, React, and Node.

• Relevant working experience in Azure, Azure App Services, Microsoft technologies, and Agile methodologies.

• A strong enthusiasm for developing front-end applications and cloud-native solutions using PaaS, containers, serverless technologies, and modern front-end JS/TS.

• A commitment to continuous learning and the exploration of new technologies relevant to the cloud sector.

• A willingness to engage in hands-on coding while also being capable of designing complex cloud architectures.

• Experience in a consulting environment.

• Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, with a preference for Azure.

• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis/Design (OOA/OOD) and Design Patterns.

• Knowledge of the Agile process and DevOps practices.

• Interest in or experience with Mobile, IoT, and Blockchain applications.

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, as well as excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication abilities.
