Senior Consultant, Resource Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee the P&L for services, including revenue, costs, and margin performance.

• Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes for service delivery.

• Monitor project financials and implement corrective measures to safeguard margins.

• Develop and monitor KPIs such as gross margin, billable utilization, and revenue per resource.

• Ensure precise project accounting, encompassing revenue recognition, cost tracking, and margin analysis.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to manage the budget versus actuals across all projects.

• Establish standardized frameworks for project financial tracking and reporting.

• Identify risks associated with scope, cost overruns, and delivery timelines.

• Optimize employee utilization rates across various projects.

• Oversee resource planning, capacity management, and demand forecasting.

• Balance workloads to maximize billable hours while ensuring quality standards are met.

• Monitor and enhance key metrics such as utilization percentage and billable versus non-billable time.

• Design and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.

• Identify skill gaps and develop targeted enablement strategies.

• Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives for delivery teams.

• Cultivate a high-performance, accountable culture within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, or Accounting is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in P&L management and project accounting.

• At least 3 years of experience managing project margins and utilization in a SaaS environment or similar.

• 2 years of project management experience with responsibilities for budget management.

• Proven experience in creating and presenting to executive-level stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

• Familiarity with Changepoint is advantageous.
