Senior Consultant, Meter-to-Cash, SAP S/4HANA Utilities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Enhance Meter-to-Cash processes: You will evaluate and improve business processes throughout the entire Meter-to-Cash cycle — from metering point operations and market communication to billing.

• Assist with SAP S/4HANA Utilities projects: You will support our clients in transitioning from SAP IS-U to SAP S/4HANA Utilities, contributing to the design, implementation, and further enhancement of modern process landscapes.

• Deliver professional consulting: You will assess business challenges, organize requirements, and collaboratively develop practical and sustainable solutions with our clients.

• Drive transformation projects: You will be actively involved in implementation, migration, and optimization initiatives, supporting test management, cutover, and hypercare.

• Conduct workshops: You will facilitate workshops, interviews, and coordination meetings with business units to foster a shared understanding of complex topics.

• Support project endeavors: You will take ownership of functional work packages and collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and internal expert teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience: You possess several years of experience with an energy supplier, grid operator, or metering point operator and are well-acquainted with energy industry business processes from practical experience.

• Meter-to-Cash proficiency: You have a strong understanding of areas such as market communication, metering, device management, billing, tariffing, smart metering, customer service, or receivables management.

• SAP knowledge: You have hands-on experience with SAP IS-U and ideally have had prior exposure to SAP S/4HANA Utilities or related transformation initiatives.

• Agile methodologies: You are familiar with agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe and ideally hold a certification as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or a similar qualification.

• Adaptability: You can quickly acclimate to different clients, organizations, and challenges.

• Excellent communication skills: You confidently present to clients, facilitate workshops, and enjoy collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Proficiency in German: You possess very good German language skills (at least C1).
