This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee targeted secondary research, which includes desk research and analysis of secondary data.
• Conduct primary research, engaging in interviews with key opinion leaders and insurance payers, with minimal oversight.
• Integrate research insights into coherent and impactful recommendations suitable for clients.
• Manage workstreams and/or entire projects independently.
• Address daily client-facing responsibilities.
• Ensure that all deliverables are completed by their deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior team members to present findings to clients.
• Contribute to business development initiatives.
• Create high-quality communications and deliverables for clients, including PowerPoint presentations and Excel models.
• Convey information in a clear and concise manner.
• Enhance firm capabilities and infrastructure through expertise in specific disease areas or project types.
• Show a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Mentor junior staff on best practices and assist in their professional development.
• Promote a high-performance culture by exemplifying best practices for junior team members.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a life science consultancy.
• Proven experience in managing projects and fulfilling consultant-level responsibilities.
• A strong passion for and understanding of the dynamics and challenges within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to communicate information clearly and logically, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client, stakeholder, or off-site meetings.
• An advanced degree from a top-tier institution with a relevant concentration is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are preferred.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Overtime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
