Senior Consultant, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, enhance, and execute business processes with an emphasis on digital transformation, automation, customer experience, workflow enhancement, and agile organizational frameworks.

• Take charge of customer projects from the planning phase all the way through to implementation independently.

• Ensure the consistent adherence to project timelines, quality benchmarks, and budget constraints.

• Discover new prospects and devise innovative solutions.

• Actively influence the consulting portfolio and assist in business growth initiatives.

• Aid in crafting forward-thinking concepts for clients.

• Establish and nurture enduring relationships with clients and partners.

• Participate in internal decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed training as an insurance clerk and/or a degree in a pertinent field such as Business Administration, Business Informatics, Insurance/Risk & Insurance, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable insurance-related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience as a project manager in the insurance industry, preferably within a consulting firm or insurance company.

• Preferably, familiarity with business process management, digital transformation, workflow and input management, Lean Management, or process enhancement.

• Understanding of insurance processes and expertise in designing complex processes efficiently for sustainable implementation.

• Lean Six Sigma or other Operational Excellence and process management certifications are advantageous.

• Capability to work independently, manage projects autonomously, and contribute innovative ideas.

• Empathy and the ability to counsel clients as a trusted partner.

• A creative and solution-focused mindset.

• Willingness to work remotely from a home office and travel to client locations.

• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for project management and presentations.
