• Provide expertise in cybersecurity for project tasks to ensure that high-quality services are delivered timely and within budget constraints.
• Support the project manager in defining and sequencing project activities, estimating task durations, and creating project schedules.
• Examine project management plans to gain insight into the project scope, timeline, and assigned work authorizations.
• Organize and schedule client meetings.
• Engage in client and project team meetings.
• Aid in research and data analysis.
• Draft written documents, reports, and presentations.
• Formulate conclusions and recommendations, prepare reports, and assist in client presentations.
• Support oral presentations to clients.
• Monitor and report the hours dedicated to project execution.
• Collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving client requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance on project deliverables.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to foster new business opportunities.
• Contribute to proposal development, including writing proposals.
• Represent ABS Consulting and partake in promoting our products and services.
• Engage in marketing activities, conference presentations, and the creation of technical whitepapers.
• Network to connect with potential new clients.
• Must be willing and able to travel 50% or more of the time as needed to fulfill business requirements.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Security Clearance is preferred.
• Capability to gain, retain, comprehend, and impart knowledge to other team members.
• Ability to mentor and coach entry-level consultants while enhancing their technical skills.
• Proficient in actively listening to client needs.
• Ability to leverage established relationships and serve as a subject matter expert with current clients to promote new business development.
• Must understand departmental objectives and hold oneself and team members accountable for fulfilling commitments and maintaining high standards.
• Practical experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework and NIST 800-53.
• Proficient with vulnerability assessment and scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus or Security Center.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Python or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
